Danuta Amborska

Danuta has been working with Zaklady Ceramiczne "BOLESLAWIEC” since 1977.  She is the Head of the Design Department and at the same time is a pattern designer.

“In my designs, I refer to the traditional ceramics of Boleslawiec, both in color and in the form of stamps, but also give them a new, more modern look. During many years of work, my stamps have evolved from simple patterns into more complicated ones, similar to delicate lace designs. I also look for inspiration in nature. In my artwork, you can find floral elements taken from Polish meadows. This invites me to use fine stamps and rich, expressive colors.”
